Biography:
Etsuko "Kate" Ueda Kate Ueda began as a family law attorney in Tampa, Florida for Carey & Millison in January 2009, after working for the Hillsborough County Courthouse for twelve years as a staff attorney in several divisions. Born in Nara, Japan, Ms. Udea speaks fluent Japanese. While attending law school in Japan, Ms. Ueda was selected for the Exchange Student program and attended university in California for nine months. She graduated from Law school in 1983. Ms. Ueda moved to Tampa, Florida permanently with her two-year-old daughter in 1991.

Ms. Ueda received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida where she was a member of the Phi Sigma Alpha National Honor Society. She continued her education and received her Law Degree (cum laude) from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida in 1996.
Ms. Ueda is an accomplished pianist and participated in the University of South Florida Outreach Program for Piano Performance. |
